ToleranceCalc 5.0

Challenge:

Studies indicate that as many as sixty percent of redesigns are due to incorrect tolerance specification. Blindly assigning GD&T without analysis is like playing Russian roulette with your design.

Solution:

ToleranceCalc wizard is a breakthrough linear and angular 1D and 2D tolerance analysis tool. It helps Engineers obtain instant answers to critical questions at any stage of the design process:
a) Will the product perform as expected when tolerances stack-up
b) Can the product be manufactured cost-effectively while satisfying allocated tolerances.

ToleranceCalc wizard

ToleranceCalc 5.0 is "training free". It is a "wizard" that works directly with geometry defined in CAD without the need of "mathematically re-describing" the problem. Using vector chains saved in any CAD application in standard DXF format, ToleranceCalc 5.0 can automatically perform worst-case stack-up as well as statistical sigma quality analysis. With ToleranceCalc 5.0 all members of design team can participate in tolerance specification strategy ensuring the final product can be manufactured in a cost-effectively way and that it will work the very first time.

ToleranceCalc is Vista compatible Windows standard application that can be used in conjunction with all popular DXF compliant CAD applications such as SolidWorks

Results in three easy steps

With ToleranceCalc 5.0, linear and angular stack-up and quality analysis of parts and assemblies created in any CAD application is easy as 1, 2, and 3.

  • Save tolerance vectors in CAD in DXF file format
  • Load vector file in ToleranceCalc 5.0, allocate tolerances, and click a button
  • See results in seconds!

If you need linear and angular stack-up and quality analysis of CAD parts and assemblies - there is no known quicker method than ToleranceCalc 5.0.

Demos:

Following narrated video demo are intended to make you familiar with breakthrough features and benefits of ToleranceCalc 5.0

Demo #1 Tolerance analysis 2D closed vector loop: Here you will see ToleranceCalc perform 2D stack-up analyis of the closed vector loop as shown in the left. The user draws the tolerance vector chains (lines with arrows) in CAD and saves the tolerance vectors in DXF format.

Demo #2 1D tolerance analysis: The shaft on the left has eight tolerance contributing elements. Assuming an acceptable tolerance range to the gap, and the tolerances specified for each shaft element, the user needs to determine the Sigma quality and reject rate in a manufacturing run of 10,000 units. Reviews and Comments:

From Cadalyst ... "People tend to be skeptical of products that seem to be priced extremely low. You probably wouldn't buy a new car if it were advertised at $500, figuring something had to be wrong. However, software is a different animal. And although GEOMATE products, especially ToleranceCalc, may not look like much or even manage everything that would be possible using a much more expensive competitor, they are worth investigating. You can install and learn the products in minutes, and you might even find that you can achieve your return on investment that quickly, as well." - Nov 19, 2004 Joe Greco

"ToleranceCalc works. It is easy to learn, and easier to use." - Dr. Joel Orr, CAD Industry leading visionary
