This course helps students understand static analysis from elementary level. Students analyze CAD designs using existing SolidWorks part models. Such a structural analysis allows the determination of effects such as deformations, strains, and stresses which are caused by applied structural loads such as force, pressure and gravity. These results can then be studied using visualization tools within FEA environment to view and to fully identify implications of the analysis.
Prerequisites:
To ensure a consistent learning experience for all students, we have established the following prerequisites for the training course:
- Some experience modeling with SolidWorks
Course Materials:
The SolidWorks Simulation training guide will be supplied at the beginning of class and is yours to keep.
