PDMWorks Enterprise - Flexible Notification

InFlow Technology has provided a solution to enhance the powerful PDMWorks Enterprise (PDMWE) notification process. It allows you to take advantage of the PDMWE notification in a more powerful and flexible way.

Flexible In Process Notification:
It is not practical to know every situation that my arise when designing a workflow. There are times that you may require a different set of individuals to respond based on the nature of the situation.

The Flexible Notification add-in allows users of PDMWE to select who will be notified as you advance a work flow, rather than requiring the person to be selected up front. This permits greater flexibility and allows your workflow to adapt to more situations.

Configuration is done by the administrator at the server. Changes are distributed automatically without the need to configure each client. The notifications are carried out by PDMWorks Enterprise's notification system to email or the Enterprise in box.

Ad-hoc Notification:
The system can also be used alert any user about any file on an ad-hoc basis. For instance, if a document is added to the system and your co-workers need to be notified that it is available for them to view, right-click on the file and select "Email a Link to this document". The user will then be prompted, telling him/her who should be notified. A small space is also provided for brief comments.

This system is based on PDMWorks Enterprise plug-in technology, which makes it easy to deploy and update.

PDMWorks Flexible Notification is licensed on a per server basis. Once installed, it is available for all your PDMWorks Enterprise users for no additional cost.
